20-Year-Old Albertas Krinickis Wins Amateur Olympia Overall, Earns IFBB Pro Card

Lithuanian bodybuilder Albertas Krinickis won the men's bodybuilding overall title at the 2026 NPC Amateur Olympia in Las Vegas, earning his IFBB Pro League card at just 20 years old. According to the IFBB Pro League, Krinickis is listed among the pro card winners from the event, which took place September 22–23.

Krinickis first claimed the super heavyweight class before going on to win the overall title. His rise through the amateur ranks came quickly: he competed in Classic Physique in 2024 and 2025 before moving to bodybuilding this year.

In a post-show interview, Krinickis said he weighed around 200 pounds when he competed last year, but weighed in at 240 pounds for the Amateur Olympia. That shift in competition weight, combined with his overall win, has made him a notable young name in bodybuilding, with his leg size, upper-body thickness and back detail drawing surprise from observers given his age.

Notably, Krinickis's athletic path started in tennis. Despite showing promise in the sport, he developed an interest in strength training during his teenage years, which gradually pulled his focus away from the court and toward the gym. By age 17, he had fully committed to weightlifting and began bodybuilding seriously.

Earning IFBB Pro League status does not qualify Krinickis for the professional Mr. Olympia contest; he will first need to establish himself against pro-level competitors. For now, the achievement stands on its own — at 20, Krinickis has won the Amateur Olympia bodybuilding overall title and secured a pro card. His first professional show will offer a clearer sense of how far this fast-rising prospect can go.
