Steve Payne

Steve Payne is an experienced American bodybuilder and coach who competed in bodybuilding competitions from 1991 to 2009. He is recognized as one of the top posing coaches in the United States, working with clients from beginners to IFBB professionals. Beyond coaching, Steve is an organizer and promoter of IFBB Professional League events, including the Southern Muscle Showdown Pro Open + Masters held in Dalton, Georgia, USA.

During his competitive career, Steve achieved notable results, including first place in the lightweight division at the 2009 Visual Art Male Physique Competition in Atlanta. He also serves as an NPC judge and organizer at local and national bodybuilding events. Holding undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, he managed a family-owned business for over 15 years, which he later converted into the House of Payne Personal Training gym.

Together with his wife Rachel, they own and operate the gym, providing both in-person and online coaching. Steve’s approach centers on carefully listening to clients’ goals and supporting them through each phase of their fitness journey, including stage preparation, emphasizing health and physical conditioning.
