Janette Ylisoini

Janette Ylisoini is a Finnish weightlifter competing in the women's 77 kg weight class. She has demonstrated remarkable performances at international competitions in 2025 and 2026. At the 2026 European Junior & U23 Championships held in October in Durrës, Albania, Janette claimed all three gold medals in her category — snatch, clean & jerk, and total — with lifts of 109 kg, 133 kg, and a total of 242 kg respectively.

Earlier in 2025, Janette also set multiple national records for Finland. In April 2025, she placed fourth in the women's 71 kg category at the European Championships, where she established two new Finnish records. Later that year in August, at the Finnish National Championships, she further improved national and Nordic records in snatch and total.

These achievements highlight Janette Ylisoini as one of Finland's most promising young weightlifters, actively competing on the European stage and consistently raising her personal and national standards.
